Continuity 101 (or: How I learned to Stop Worrying and Love The Scripty)
- Q & A on just what it is that Continuity / Script Supervisors actually do...

And how come you get to sit down all day when everyone else is running around?

I have a campchair because it’s an awful lot easier to write sitting down, with the folder on your lap, than it is standing up (and mine also has a built-in backpack which is a perfect fit for my folder and clipboard, with helpful pouches and pockets and such for my mobile stationery cupboard). Although I do frequently have to do it either standing, or more likely crouched down somewhere hiding under the camera or squished up with the monitor behind a convenient piece of set. Or in a car boot. Occasionally it has been suggested that I am a little tall for these aspects of my job, but hey.
